Mounting Guidelines
Installing the stabilizer to the mounting kit, YOU MUST USE THE BLUE 242 LOCTITE SUPPLIED ON ALL MOUNTING BOLTS and/or SCREWS.
- Put a small spot of blue Loctite on the stabilizer mounting bolts.
- Hold stabilizer over triple tree mounting kit, Make sure to locate the link arm slots aligns with the flats on the tower pin.
- Start both mounting bolts by hand into and through stabilizer mounting holes loosely,
- Tighten down both bolts evenly until both are tight. (We recommend using an Allen wrench, NOT an Allen socket wrench for this operation).
- Move motorcycle steering from left to right (Full Lock) to ensure there no binding in the steering.
- If you are satisfied there are no problems, test ride your motorcycle.
- You don’t need to feel damping in order for the stabilizer to be working.
- Start conservatively and slowly dial in your personal steering requirements.
- Read your Stabilizer manual for the initial settings on the controls.
- If you have any questions on anything contact us, we want to help you get the most out of your steering stabilizer.
